English course fees for children 2026/2027

All prices shown are per term.

Course fees are paid twice during the school year, separately for the first and second terms.

Face-to-face lessons — 16 lessons per term

The usual group size is 7–8 children. In exceptional cases, a group may have up to nine children.

The exact lesson length for each group is shown in the current timetable.

Small-group option

For selected intermediate and advanced groups, a smaller group of five or six children may be opened if fewer children enrol.

In this case, lessons last 60 minutes and the fee is CZK 3,840 per term.

Online lessons — 18 lessons per term

Online courses take place in small groups. The lesson length and course fee depend on the number of children in the group.

Please pay for online lessons only after you have received an email confirming the number of children in the group and the course fee.

Lessons in nursery and primary schools

Fees for courses held directly in nursery and primary schools may vary according to the lesson length, number of children and the arrangements with each school.

Parents will receive the current price when enrolling their child in a particular course.

Paying the course fee

Course fees can be paid by bank transfer or in cash at a lesson.

  • First term: payment by 27 September 2026
  • Second term: payment by 17 January 2027

Bank details will be provided in the enrolment confirmation email.

Discounts and other benefits

Depending on the current conditions, families may be able to use a Corrency contribution, arrange a replacement for an excused absence or receive a discount for a younger sibling.

BONUSES

  • For children starting out, payment can only be made after the first lesson, during which you will clarify whether the children will be satisfied with the form of instruction. If you like the lesson, you will pay the full course fee, if not, you will not pay anything.
  • Making up for missed lessons - during the paid school year, you have the opportunity to make up for missed lessons in other courses of either the same level or lower.

DISCOUNTS

  • From September 12, 2024, we are registered in the Corrency local economy support system - parents with permanent residence in the Ostrava South and Silesian Ostrava areas can apply a discount of up to 1000 CZK
  • intensive course 2x a week 10% of the price of the second course
  • Sibling in the same group:
    • up to 1.5 years free if not actively involved in the lessons
    • up to two years 30% if involved in the lessons
The participation of a sibling up to two years will be allowed only if it does not significantly disrupt the lesson!
